The 7-years old Configurator had come to a number of limitations causing various problems. It was time to move on.

Earlier we stored commands and configurations in normal text documents, which were very easy to maintain and manually edit. That worked well for many years, until the library contained a high number of files, and windows started dropping files. Some users lost their configuration.

So - in order to service our customers better - we decided to start from scratch and create a Configurator holding an SQL database. We spend more than 500 man-hours in order to bring you the new Configurator SQL.

This new Configurator SQL was first mentioned/marketed in October 2010 and was announced for more than 3 months before it was actually released. It was designed to work on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 and we needed confirmation from the field that it worked as expected. All customers were asked 3 times for feedback and everybody joining in received a never-ending license.

We have carefully taken a long time to introduce the new Configurator and keep everybody informed accordingly.

Customers not giving any feedback got a 6 weeks period to make use of their license expiring 14th of February 2011 - and to download/save a personal copy of the old Configurator.

Unfortunately many users either had turned off the NewsLetter, or did not read our emails. But as we are constantly moving forward, we are no longer able to support the old Configurator.

The new Configurator still supports the TT455-RT-238 Hardware 5, which served us for 6 years before it was obsoleted in December 2010.

The way for you to proceed is to purchase a LicenseKey allowing us to continue supporting and adding new features to your LinTronic product.
